Pastor Eldho Mappalail is the founding pastor of the Church of God in Calgary. Pastor Eldho was born and raised in India and after high school he realized the definite call of God for ministry in North India. He completed a diploma program from Beersheba Bible School and Bachelor of Theology from Doon Bible College. He was then ordained as pastor, following which he was involved with the Church of God in India Central West Region from 1984 to 2002.
Pastor Eldho Mappalail then completed the Master of Divinity program in 2007 at the Canadian Theological Seminary now known as Ambrose University College in Calgary. During his studies God placed a great burden in his heart to start a pioneer ministry among the ethnically diverse community in Calgary. Subsequently he has also completed the Chaplaincy course at the Foothills Medical Centre, Calgary. Currently he is serving as the full time pastor of the Church of God Calgary.

Pastor Finny Samuel was born and raised in a Pentecostal Family in Kottayam Kerala. Immediately after Graduation, he had a secular job but realized God’s calling for Ministry and hence joined a theological seminary in the year 2003. In 2007, he started a new Mission work at a place called Uzhavoor, Kerala. He completed his theological studies in the year 2008 and started teaching in various bible seminaries in different parts of Kerala and was equipped to send people for the glorification of the Kingdom of God. In the meantime, God helped him to work with the Church of God, Kerala State as a Zonal coordinator in Kottayam. In 2012, he got married to Elizabeth and moved to Canada in the year 2013. They are now settled in Calgary Alberta along with their two daughters Hannah and Sarah and serving the Lord as an Associate Pastor with the Church of God Calgary.
